Geneve - Clou de Paris
Omega Genève Ref. 14458 62 — 1962
A refined mid-century Omega Genève, reference 14458 62 (111017), dating to 1962 and preserved in solid 18k gold.
The watch features a beautifully preserved “Clou de Paris” textured dial, complemented by a matching textured bezel. Slender black hands and gilt indexes provide a restrained contrast, allowing the geometric surface of the dial to remain the defining element of the composition.
Inside is Omega’s manual-winding calibre 620, characteristic of the brand’s understated dress watches of the period.
Measuring 25.5 mm in diameter, its compact proportions are entirely consistent with the elegant wristwatches of the early 1960s.
A discreet example of Omega’s mid-century design language, where texture, proportion and precious metal come together with remarkable simplicity.
